OIL CITY BINS INC.

All bins supplied by Oil City Bins Inc. remain the property of Oils City Bins Inc. 

By hiring Oil City Bins Inc., you hereby expressly authorize Oil City Bins Inc. to take any necessary steps to enter your premises/property to reclaim the bins without further notice.

All payments must be made upon delivery unless stated otherwise. Failure to do so will result in debt collection and costs. Payment is due on receipt of service. Outstanding accounts past 30 days will be charged at the interest rate of 2% per month (compounded).

Oil City Bins Inc. cannot be held liable for any damages resulting from waste removal services on either public or private property during the usual course of business operations. The Customer expressly authorizes and agrees to indemnify and save harmless Oil City Bins Inc. for any damages resulting to driveway, lawns, and services such as cables, drainage, trees and telephone wires.

Oil City Bins Inc. reserves the right to charge back to the Customer any handling charges related to overfilled bins and/or the disposal of unpermitted materials. The Customer agrees to pay said charges immediately upon furnishing of the receipts for same.

Use of this website and the ordering of Oil City Bins Inc. shall be deemed to be an acknowledgement that the Customer has read, understood, agreed and accepted our Terms and Conditions of Service.

Oil City Bins Inc. is a waste disposal company that disposes of most items not falling within the purview of the local municipal trash disposal service in Edmonton and surrounding areas. Our dumpster sizes our 12, 15 and 20 cubic yards and they are placed on your property using a unique roll-off system.

Bin Drop-off location(s) shall be provided at the time of booking. Oil City Bins Inc. shall dispatch a driver to deliver the bin as required or directed by the Customer’s booking information.  

Once the bins are placed by the Driver on the designated location, the bins must not be removed and/or relocated. Please note that the subsequent relocation of a bin to another site will incur an additional fee.

The Customer shall be liable for any and all damage or loss sustained in respect of the bins delivered to the booking site. Damage and/or loss shall include but is not limited to: theft, fire or property damage, and/or other perils.

The Customer shall not overload the bins and shall not allow overflow beyond the edge of the bin; any excess costs in removal or disposal of overflow shall be borne by the Customer directly.

The following materials are ACCEPTABLE ITEMS for disposable in the bins:

Construction, demolition, or renovation debris (roofing, siding, drywall, etc.);

1. Yard trimmings;
   
2. Green waste;
   
3. Household junk;
   
4. Appliances (See exceptions of restricted items, charges may apply);
   
5. Furniture;
   
6. Scrap metal;
   
7. Any odds and ends; and
   
8. Mattresses and boxsprings (charges may apply). 

The following items are RESTRICTED ITEMS and are not permitted for disposal in the bins:

1. No hazardous/toxic/flammable materials whatsoever (hazardous materials shall include but is not limited to solvents, chemicals, oils, toxic materials, paints, asbestos, flammable liquids, explosives, oil drums/tanks, tires, batteries, pressurized tanks, food items, and carcasses;
   
2. Soil, sod, rock and cement; and 
   
3. Any other item not permitted by the local landfill.
   
   

PLEASE NOTE: If any of the above items are disposed of in the bins, additional fees will apply for the removal and disposal of same. ACCEPTABLE ITEMS shall only include items allowed by the local landfill. In the event of uncertainty regarding acceptability of an item for disposal, please contact Oil City Bins Inc. for prior approval.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:

In the event that you need to cancel after making a booking but 24 hours prior to delivery, we are pleased to offer a full refund of your initial payment.

Dry Run Fee: Please note that a fee of $75.00 will be charged for any successful delivery due to circumstances outside the driver’s control.
